Born in 1969 in a family where the practice of the dance and the popular music is a part of its everyday life, he makes his first steps in percussion having 7 years old, by the practice of "Tapan" with a Turkish friend.
He takes courses of drum with Yves Baibay, follows training courses of percussions
Afro-cubaines and Cubans, with « Gomma » percussions and with Chris Joris and Didier Labarre, Franck Michiels, then learns about the jazz with Jean-Louis Rassinfosse.
General-purpose musician, he approaches all the musical styles, the jazz and the French song, the early music, the musics of the world, and folk song, the classical music, the song for young audience …
He is a member of several groups and musical projects:
Musicazur, Musique à 9, Alain Pierre, Chris Joris, Jean-François Maljean, Marka, Wendy Nazaré, Thierry Dell, Quentin Dujardin, Tref, S-Tres, Didier Laloy invite, Quartet Heliotrope, André Borbé, Grouba, Tangram, Hermosa, Giacomo Lariccia...
He participates more and more also in the recording of numerous records since 1994 and teaches the percussions during training courses (summer Academy (Regional education authority) of Libramont, Gaume Jazz and accompanies lessons of contemporary dance.
