| OakTree
OakTree is a Belgian-Luxembourg trio in which the cello of Annemie
Osborne (LU), the voice of Sarah Klenes (BE) and the accordion of
Thibault Dille (BE) converge and converse.
The three musicians meet in 2008 during a class for free improvisation
and decide to further explore this atypical instrumentation.
Through a repertoire mixing personal composition and free improvisation
as well as rearranged latin and jazz standards, they seek to create
in the moment, blend colors and sound textures, complement each
other with the intention to surprise and be surprised - a musical
flow in which roles can be inverted at any time.
The trio invites you to journey in a sensitive and creative universe,
playful and fervent, sometimes dynamic, sometimes gently swaying,
adventurous and occasionally off-balance; a generous funambulist
opening your imagination to dream and dance.
