Frédéric Becker is formed with saxophonists Bart Defoort and Jeroen Van Herzeele. He joined the Koningklijk Konservatorium Jazz Brussels where he continued his apprenticeship with Jeroen Van Herzeele and John Ruocco and then gets graduated in 1999. His range of versatile musician - sax alto, soprano, tenor, clarinet, flute bansuri and its experiences traveler makes him a unique artist, open, capable to enroll different kind of music. From 2007 to 2010, he served as musician and composer, the jazz funk band “The Peas Project”. He is now playing with the artist and poet Karim Gharbi, continued afro-jazz explorations with his new quartet YôKaï and performs as a free lance.
