Cruz controL create a lush, fluid and occasionally unsettling sound;
alternately intimate and chaotic, and immediately recognisable as
their own. Blending genres and eschewing stereotypes, they splice
jazz, prog-rock, funk and avant-garde without ever letting go of
the groove, inviting comparison with Steve Coleman or Aka Moon,
as well as pioneering English acts of the 70s like National Health,
Brand X and Soft Machine.
